We have been syndicating real estate investments from our Berkeley, California office since 1995.
All of our investments are carefully evaluated and selected to accomplish three overriding objectives: 1) generate current income; 2) achieve capital appreciation and 3) defer capital gains taxes on profits from sales.
At this point we have approximately thirty-five investors holding about sixty-five investment positions in the nine Limited Partnerships and Limited Liability Companies that we manage, with over four million dollars in invested equity.
Our overall business plan is to purchase and manage real estate so as to develop strong cash return (profit) and maximize property value. As changing business conditions allow, properties may be refinanced or sold. It is our intent to reinvest capital and profits into other properties offering similar benefits. Under certain conditions, profits from the sale of real estate are tax-deferrable. We intend to create those conditions and purchase new properties using tax-deferred exchanges. While we would prefer that investors remain with us through the sale and reinvestment into new property, we do not require such a commitment.
